We aim at simple, portable, and powerful framework for implementing graph drawing algorithms.

We developed a language-independent format that allows different graph visualization programs to co-operate. This format is described in ASDL specifications.

We now have some tools to manipulate our format. These tools include:

  • parser to get ASDL pickles from simple text language
  • verifier for graph specifications
  • an example of graph representator that uses annealing
  • graph planarity tester
  • a ``back-end'' for representations that outputs PostScript
