Embox

Embox is a hard Real-Time operating system for embedded applications.

Embox is a configurable OS. It allows agile configuration system kernel for specific tasks and platforms, including possibility of choosing appropriate strategies for usual kernel servises as memory allocation, IPC, scheduling and so on.

Embox is an open source project, people from different countries involved in project and can participate in life of the project’s community.

Embox is a robotics operating system. The project collaborates with “theoretical cybernetics”  department in the reserch of robotics system and the project was ported to Lego Mindstorms NXT platform.  The Robots Programing Platform was created as a result. It consists of the RTOS "Embox" and Graphical IDE "QReal", both are the projects of Software Engineering department.
